Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Anstogo collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our app, website, question banks, app-lock tools, subscriptions, parental controls, and Sage AI features.

Effective date: May 24, 2026

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to Anstogo mobile apps, the Anstogo website at anstogo.xyz, and related services that link to this Policy. It does not apply to third-party websites, app stores, sign-in providers, or payment platforms that are governed by their own privacy policies.

By using Anstogo, you understand that your information will be handled as described in this Policy.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on the features you use and the permissions you grant.

Account and Profile Information

We may collect your display name, username, email address, profile photo or avatar, account identifier, login method, and authentication-related information. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive identifiers and account information provided by that sign-in provider according to your choices.

Study and Learning Information

We process information related to your learning activity, including selected SAT and ACT question banks, active question sets, answers, accuracy, mistakes, saved questions, same-skill practice, streaks, unlock challenge progress, study time, and learning reports.

App-Lock and Device Configuration

To provide app-lock features, we may process selected apps, app categories, web domains, unlock rules, difficulty settings, penalties, unlock duration, parental-control settings, and local device permission status. Where possible, sensitive operating-system selections are handled by platform frameworks and stored locally or as configuration data needed to operate the feature.

Subscription and Purchase Information

When you purchase Pro or Sage, we may process product identifiers, entitlement status, purchase platform, transaction verification data, renewal status, expiration date, and related subscription metadata. We do not receive or store your full payment card details from Apple, Google, or other payment processors.

Feedback, Support, and Diagnostics

If you contact us or submit feedback, we may collect the topic, message, optional contact information, user ID, app version, device type, operating-system version, API environment, and diagnostic context needed to investigate the issue.

Website and Technical Information

When you visit our website or use the app, we may process basic technical information such as browser type, device platform, app version, language, approximate region, request logs, crash logs, and security-related events.

3. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

4. Permissions and Platform Features

Anstogo requests permissions only when they are needed for a feature you choose to use.

You can grant, deny, or revoke permissions in your device settings. Some features may not work if required permissions are disabled.

5. Sage AI Features

Sage may use question content, answer history, mistake context, skill tags, user-provided prompts, and feedback to generate educational explanations, mistake analysis, and learning reports. Sage is designed as a study aid. AI outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and should not be treated as professional advice.

Please do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages or AI prompts unless it is necessary for support.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in limited circumstances:

7. Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Anstogo, maintain account and subscription records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. Study data, saved questions, mistakes, and local configuration may remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or delete your account.

When an account deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify account-related personal information unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, or legitimate operational reasons.

8. Your Choices and Rights

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

9. Children, Students, and Parental Controls

Anstogo is intended to support learning and focus. If a parent or guardian configures Anstogo for a child, the parent or guardian is responsible for obtaining any required consent, supervising use, setting device permissions, and managing parental-control passwords.

Anstogo does not knowingly sell information about children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us so we can review the request.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No app, website, or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Use

Anstogo may be operated and supported from different locations. If you use Anstogo outside the place where our service infrastructure is located, your information may be processed in other jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Anstogo evolves. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and may provide notice through the app, website, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of Anstogo after an update means the updated Policy applies.

For privacy questions, account deletion, or data requests, email us. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information.
